Inspired by Randy Osborne’s book “Made of This”, co-authored by Gianni Simone, Tim and Liz began a wild walk through the memories of their respective radio careers. They follow certain self-imposed rules as they recall those behind-the-scenes antics. A single word must be borrowed from the previous entry as a springboard for the next and each memory should be only three or four sentences long. Stay tuned for its release date.

WROK radio’s 100th anniversary is approaching in 2023! We decided to invite our radio friends from the past in for a little sit down conversation.
The response has been fantastic. We learned so much and laughed even more.

Most would not guess these three books were written by the same brain. Things to Think About is a small collection of the vast radio segments Tim airs on SKY7 ‘s Variety Channel out of Phoenix, Arizona. Maybe a blip on your mental radar for a minute OR a deep seeded observation that somehow hit a nerve and sticks with you for days.
The Comings & Goings of T-shirts taps the smart alec side of all of us. The front side of these wishful garments can stand alone innocently. As can the back side. Read them together as if a speed joke with a snappy punch line and you have it. A smirk! Being able to wear any of these shirts into a select room with a handpicked audience is everyone’s dream…after you crack this one.
Life lessons are tough to grasp in a single session sitting on a bucket in a barn with your grandfather. But, being reminded of that important lesson every time you lift a bucket or see any barn is The Power of the Prop. It’s extremely challenging to pick up virtually anything within arm’s length and tie it to your next story. This book will map out suggestions for youth leaders, teachers, ministers, sales managers, volunteer coordinators and company owners. Make it your own, but do pick up that Estwing hammer and make it.

Tim asked two hundred friends to answer eight simple questions in the early stages of a pandemic. It was a way to connect with isolated folks and encourage them to think way beyond their lives as they’ve known them. He received ninety-eight responses! He is now using their answers to develop short stories about The Moment We Met. Full disclosure…every paragraph consists of 97% lies, because it’s more entertaining that way.

Tim can be frequently seen hiking through national parks and botanical gardens capturing a little something about every five feet or so. “It’s the process I enjoy so much. First, Tim wondered if certain broadcast events were recorded back in the day. We’re talkin’ 1977! Secondly, if a tape existed, what kind of toll would the years have dished out? Well Tim found the priceless cassettes and reel-to-reels in 2020 so converting them into digital files became his pandemic project.
