The Storytellers Studio project (which can be found on virtually all podcast platforms) is an unexpected benefit to our Lifes3x5s podcast. Our love for good conversation and cheek hurting laughing was the foundation. It’s good for the soul. Unfortunately, it happened among long time radio friends very randomly and much too infrequently. One day Tim and Liz realized they certainly had the equipment, the know-how and the means to get these hilarious stories archived. And, so it was born on 2-22-22! Several folks immediately jumped onboard to help us make it happen and we thought WROK’s approaching 100th birthday in 2023 was perfect timing. Of course, this project is not limited to this, but it sure was a good start among old friends with so much in common.

Decades of WROK/WZOK radio memorabilia has been collected for the display for our guests to enjoy. Our space at the Edgebrook Center is courtesy of Orput Properties.
